چکیده

Many software reliability growth models based upon a non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) have been proposed to measure and asses the of system quantitatively. Generally, error detection rate fault content function during testing is considered be dependent on elapsed time testing. In this paper we three (SRGM’s) incorporating notion generation over as an extension delayed S-shaped model (NHPP). The parameters are estimated using maximum likelihood method for interval domain data sets provided illustrate estimation technique. compared with existing sum squares, mean predictive ratio risk Akaike’s information criteria different sets. We show that perform satisfactory better than models.

Testing Effort Dependent Delayed S-shaped Software Reliability Growth Model with Imperfect Debugging

In software development process, testing is one of the most important aspects and hence, software reliably is very important factor of software systems. In the last four decades many software reliability growth model based on non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) have been developed which incorporates testing effort function. However, the previous models are quite helpful for software engineer...

Two Dimensional Software Reliability Growth Models Using Cobb-Douglas Production Function and Yamada S-Shaped Model

Software reliability is the likelihood of the failure free function of software in a given period of time under some certain circumstances. Software testing can be defined as the process to detect the faults in totality and worth of developed computer software. Testing is very much important in assuring the quality of the software by identifying faults in software, and also most possibly removi...

A New Continuous Multi-State Reliability Model with Time Dependent Component Performance Rate

A CSS1†is a system with the continues-state components. When a component has the ability to obtain all the situations from completely working to completely failed, it named continues-state component. In the real world, performance rate of elements are continuous and decrease by time. Continuity of components causes infinite working states and grows up the system states. In this paper we propose...

SPC for Software Reliability using Inflection S-Shaped Model

Traditional statistical analysis methods account for natural variation but require aggregation of measurements over time, which can delay decision making.Statistical process control (SPC) is a branch of statistics that combines rigorous time series analysis methods with graphical presentation of data, often yielding insights into the data more quickly and in a way more understandble to lay decisi...
